Let us see the natural methods to get early periods: 

  1. Ginger
    Ginger increases the heat in the body and induces early periods. Direct ginger pieces may taste unpleasant so add it to the vegetables or have ginger tea. It helps in uterine contraction and may result in early periods. 
  2. Turmeric
    Turmeric is an age-old natural remedy for a lot of problems as it increases antioxidant capacity and is one of the best anti-inflammatory compounds. It helps you get periods faster by increasing the blood flow to the uterus. There are different ways you can increase the consumption of turmerics such as sprinkle it on steamed vegetables, rice, milk, and other cuisines. This can force your menstrual cycle. 
  3. Warm water bath
    A hot water bath is always relaxing and good for relieving stress. If you add a few drops of lavender oil to your warm water tub, it not just relaxes your mind and body but also increases the blood flow to the area for faster periods. 
  4. Vitamin C
    Oranges, berries, broccoli, spinach, sprouts, papaya, tomatoes, and lemons are all citrus food. Some women also take vitamin supplements or eat vitamin C rich food. It helps you elevate your estrogen levels and lower your progesterone levels. 
  5. Socialize and relax
    Reduce your workload, exercise, meditate and spend some quality time with friends and family. This helps reduce stress which is very important to regulate the menstrual cycle. Stress hormones such as adrenaline or cortisol may delay your periods. So avoid stress.
  6. Parsley leaves
    To increase the estrogenic activity, go for parsley leaves. It is high in vitamin C and as already mentioned, vitamin C induces early periods. You can consume it in the form of tea as it stimulates uterine contraction. Note that it is not for breastfeeding women or women with kidney problems. 
  7. Tea or coffee
    Restrict your caffeine intake (2-3 cups a day) or prefer mildest plants for the tea you can consume such as chamomile, ginger, parsley or rosemary tea. These tea herbs are believed to the slightly contract uterus. There is no such study to support this but some women have found the solution with the same. 
  8. Sexual activity
    During sexual intercourse, orgasm causes dilation of the cervix. The menstrual blood comes down in the vacuum. It may be penetrative or non-penetrative sexual activity. Regular intercourse reduces stress and maintains hormonal balance. This may help you get your periods early.
    Although there is no such study to prove, some exercise may also help get periods faster such as crunches, squats, pelvic twists.
  9. Jaggery
    This is another heat generating food so the doctors advise patients to take jaggery in small amounts. The iron content in the body gets imbalanced which disturbs the menstrual cycle.
