• Diagnostic Tests- Before performing a vitrectomy, the surgeon recommends various tests, including a visual acuity test, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, retinal vessel analysis, OCT, etc., to evaluate eye health. 
• Post-surgery Care and Follow-ups- After the surgery, several medications will be prescribed to you to minimize the chances of post-surgery complications. Furthermore, you will have to take multiple follow-ups with the doctor to ensure that the eyes are recovering well.
