Dr. Chethan Kishanchand is an expert and experienced General Surgeon, Laparoscopic Surgeon, and Proctologist with an experience of 25 years. Previously, Dr. Chethan served as a Consultant General Surgeon at the Ministry of Health, Sur, Oman, from 2018 to 2024, where he was a leading consultant in the Department of General Surgery. He was responsible for managing complex surgical cases and performing advanced laparoscopic procedures. He also held the position of Deputy Head of Surgery and was a member of core hospital committees such as the Primary Regional Medical and Technical Committee and the Mortality and Morbidity Committee. Before his tenure in Oman, he worked at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, as an Associate Professor and Unit Head (2010-2018), and earlier as an Assistant Professor (2006-2010), actively contributing to surgical education, mentoring, and clinical research.

Dr. Chethan is fluent in English, Hindi, and Kannada, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient base.
